Overview

The Allen-Bradley 1756-L61/B is a Series B revision ControlLogix 5561 processor module designed for medium and large-scale industrial automation systems. As the central processing unit of a ControlLogix architecture, the processor executes control logic, manages communications, processes I/O data, and coordinates automation operations across the entire system.

The 1756-L61/B provides 2 MB of user memory and supports up to 128,000 digital I/O points and 4,000 analog I/O points. It features an integrated RS-232 communication port and supports communication through EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet, DH+, and other ControlLogix communication modules.
