Verification & Quality Control

Our inspection process for the ICS Triplex T8160 includes:

1. Confirming the T8160 model.
2. Checking the ICS Triplex / Trusted label.
3. Recording the module revision and serial number.
4. Inspecting the front-panel LEDs.
5. Checking the rear connector.
6. Inspecting the enclosure.
7. Checking for corrosion or oxidation.
8. Inspecting accessible PCB areas.
9. Confirming the physical condition.
10. Providing actual product photos upon request.
11. Performing functional testing where compatible equipment is available.
12. Using anti-static packaging for export shipment.

Important: Rockwell issued a product notice concerning certain T8160 and T8160C modules where internal component interconnections could loosen under vibration or thermal cycling. Certain serial-number ranges were required to be returned for factory repair. Therefore, for a used T8160, checking the serial number and service history is worthwhile before shipment.
