The VMIC VMIPMC-5565 reflective memory module adopts industrial-grade PMC standard architecture and proprietary fiber optic reflective memory transmission technology, with leading real-time performance and industrial stability compared with ordinary industrial communication cards. The module is equipped with on-board high-speed SDRAM, supporting 64MB/128MB large-capacity high-speed storage, which can cache massive real-time operating data of industrial systems without external storage expansion equipment, meeting the high-capacity data mirroring requirements of complex simulation and control systems. It supports a maximum of 256 independent network node connections, realizing large-scale distributed multi-device synchronous data interaction, which is suitable for large industrial simulation clusters and multi-unit linkage control scenarios.
In terms of transmission performance, the module features a fixed 2.12Gbaud high-speed fiber optic link rate, with a single-word transmission speed up to 43MB/s and burst transmission speed up to 174MB/s. It supports dynamic data packet size adaptation from 4 bytes to 64 bytes, which can flexibly match small real-time instruction transmission and large data batch transmission scenarios. Adopting LC fiber optic interface design, it supports multi-mode fiber transmission up to 300 meters and single-mode fiber long-distance transmission up to 10 kilometers, solving the distance limitation of traditional board card communication and realizing long-distance cross-region real-time data synchronization of industrial equipment.

VMIPMC-5565 is a high-performance fiber optic reflective memory PMC module launched by VMIC under GE Intelligent Platforms, specially designed for ultra-high-speed real-time data sharing and synchronous transmission in industrial real-time simulation, aerospace testing, power system simulation, industrial motion control and high-precision test bench systems. As a core deterministic real-time network communication hardware, this module breaks through the uncertainty delay defect of traditional Ethernet communication. It realizes zero-delay mirror synchronization of shared memory data among all network nodes through proprietary reflective memory technology. Any data written to the local node memory will be automatically and synchronously updated to all nodes in the entire network in microsecond level, ensuring global data consistency and real-time synchronization of the distributed control system.
