TSXPBY100 is a high-performance Profibus DP communication module developed by Schneider Electric, belonging to the Modicon Premium series automation control system accessories. The TSXPBY100 Profibus DP communication module is a key functional component of Schneider Modicon Premium PLC system, focusing on providing efficient and stable field bus communication solutions for industrial automation. The module adopts mature PCMCIA host module design, equipped with a dedicated bus T-junction box, which simplifies on-site wiring and installation and improves the convenience of system deployment and later maintenance.

It supports master class 1 and class 2 operation modes of Profibus DP, covering full functions such as remote I/O data real-time reading and writing, slave station equipment parameter configuration, fault diagnosis information collection and detection request response. The module can access up to 126 slave devices at the same time, with a maximum I/O processing capacity of 3872 input and output points, which can meet the bus communication needs of large-scale distributed industrial control systems.

In terms of transmission performance, the module adopts NRZ encoding transmission mode and shielded twisted pair cable, with a maximum communication rate of 12 Mbit/s. At the lowest baud rate of 9.6 kbit/s, the maximum communication distance can reach 1200 meters, which is suitable for long-distance and large-range industrial field layout. The module has low power consumption operation performance, with a working current of only 400mA under 5VDC power supply, which effectively reduces system energy consumption and heat generation, and improves the continuous operation stability of the equipment.
