Overview

The Woodward 9907-162 is an intelligent turbine control platform engineered to manage industrial steam turbines operating in both power generation and mechanical drive applications. The controller integrates speed control, startup sequencing, load management, alarm handling, and protective functions into a single compact unit, reducing the need for additional PLC logic.

Built around the Woodward 505 architecture, the module supports single-actuator and split-range actuator configurations and offers five PID control loops to optimize steam flow and turbine performance.
